Vögeln bei Nacht

In 2014 I visited the Art Basel. A print with the title"gut zu vögeln" inspired me to this original print.

To understand you need to know a little more about the meaning of "vögeln". "Vögel" is german and means "birds" in english. But "vögeln" is a verb and means "to bonk".

So the title of my print "vögeln bei Nacht" could either meand birds at night or to bonk at night. A word play. 

People need time to understand and in many times it ends up with laughter and fun!
